Who we are

Wikai ("we", "us") provides an AI-native company wiki at wikai.wiki. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Wikai web application and website.

Information we collect

  • Account information. Your name, email address, and credentials, managed through Firebase Authentication (email/password or Google sign-in). We never see or store your password in plaintext.
  • Workspace content. The pages, spaces, and images your team creates. Content is stored in Google Cloud (Firestore and Firebase Storage) and is scoped to your workspace — other companies' workspaces can never access it.
  • Billing information. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe and managed through RevenueCat. We receive your subscription status and plan; we never receive or store your card details.
  • Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand page views and product usage (for example, sign-ups and workspace creation). Analytics data is aggregated and not used to read your workspace content.
  • Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) needed to operate and secure the service.

Your Anthropic API key (free plan)

On the Free plan, AI features run on an Anthropic API key that you provide. Your key is stored only in your browser's local storage— it is sent with your requests so our server can call Anthropic on your behalf, but it is never persisted on our servers. Removing it from your browser removes it entirely. On Pro and Ultra plans, AI features run on Wikai's own managed key instead.

How we use your information

  • To provide the service: hosting your wiki, authentication, search, and collaboration.
  • To power AI features: relevant excerpts of your workspace content are sent to Anthropic's API to generate answers, summaries, and writing suggestions. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models by default.
  • To process subscriptions and prevent abuse.
  • To understand aggregate product usage and improve Wikai.

We do not sell your personal information or workspace content, and we do not use your workspace content to train AI models.

Service providers (subprocessors)

  • Google Cloud / Firebase — hosting, database, file storage, authentication, analytics.
  • Anthropic — AI processing (Claude models) for Atlas features.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • RevenueCat — subscription management.

Data retention and deletion

Workspace content is retained while your workspace is active. If you want your account, workspace, or specific content permanently deleted, contact us at support@wikai.wiki and we will delete it within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records).

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure with per-workspace isolation enforced by our application. No method of storage is 100% secure, but we design access so that only your workspace's members can reach your content.

Your rights

You can access and update your account information from within the app, and request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights (such as the GDPR), we will honor requests consistent with those laws.

Children

Wikai is a workplace product and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and the effective date above will always reflect the current version.
